After 20 yrs. of being free I stopped Nyst. and in 12 months my Ps returned. Today I am back on and look great and feel great. Introduction

Psoriasis is one of the most common causes of nail dystrophy. Reported nail involvement in psoriasis varies from 32% to 74% of cases in various Indian studies., Psoriasis of the fingernails constitutes a significant social problem.

Methods

Our study was carried out at GGS Medical College, Faridkot. The study protocol was approved by the institutional Ethical Committee. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants.

Procedure

Two injections were administered into each treated nail, with an interval of 6 weeks.

• G0 = No improvement
• G3 = 76%99% improvement
• G4 = Complete recovery.

Data collected were tabulated in a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Results were statistically analyzed using a Chi-square test.

Results

At the first follow-up at 12 weeks, none of the nails in any of the three groups showed G3 or G4 improvement .
