Do I Need To Use A Special Sunscreen If I Have Psoriasis
You dont necessarily need to use special sunscreen but wearing sun protection is important. Long sleeves and clothing with a UPF protection rating can come in handy.
If you have a flare-up or actively inflamed skin, sunscreen may irritate your skin further. In these instances, it may be best to avoid sun exposure or to wear clothing that protects your skin from the suns rays.
When flare-ups are managed, a sun blocker that contains zinc oxide or titanium dioxide may be your safest bet. Always use a sunscreen that has at least SPF 30.
If you take a medication for psoriasis, such as methotrexate or acitretin, you may have heightened sensitivity to the sun, increasing your need for protection.

Like most people who have written reviews on this product have tried all kinds of ointments, creams, salves, gels, powders and pretty much anything else I could get my hands on to try to clear up unsightly and painful blotches on my skin and scalp. I am also a picker so its twice as bad for me with all the itching and burning with redness and the production of copious amount of extra skin flakesugh. This product is amazing! After applying the cream I can feel some burning and tingling but that to me just means its working. Right away I feel relief from the itching and burning, within a day or so the plaques are hardly there any more, hardly anything left to pick. Within a week or two my spots area almost back to normal. I just found out that TriDerma also makes shampoo so I cant wait to try that too!!! Thank you !

I have tried so many remedies, creams, body oils and prescriptions for my psoriasis this past year and nothing can compare to this product at all!! Very Good Psoriasis Control Cream
Ive had constant skin problems over the years. I got psoriasis on my feet and ankles. The ointment prescribed to me by the dermatologist did not get rid of the irritation or have ingredients for my skin health. The psoriasis came back anyway, so I decided to use something else.
